Commercial establishments prefer to use industrial appliance called juicer to extract fruit and vegetable juices quickly. In other situations, hard fruits and vegetables such as apples and carrots are mashed in a blender before extracting the juices.

For many years, there has been a wide variety of juicing tools in the market to accommodate the need of commercial food stalls and health-conscious communities. Some of these juicing tools include hand-operated grinders, electric juicers (triturating juicers, centrifugal juicers and masticating juicers), barrel-shaped presses and inverted cones.
